On 28 February 2023, the Netherland flagged tug MULTRATUG 18 was towing the barge LOUIS westwards in the North Sea approximately 7 nautical miles northwest of Skagen, Denmark. At 0527 LT, the Danish flagged fishing ship VIBIMA collided with the tow and sank immediately after the collision. The two fishermen managed to evacuate the ship to a fishing vessel.
